alright, this was not the plan. we're supposed to be eating japanese food in this newly talked about jap resto. unfortunately, after dragging my ass to the place, to my dismay, i found a "CLOSED" plastic sign on their glass door. i've researched about the time and days this resto is supposed to be open so i kept asking myself why they're closed as our mind were already conditioned to be eating japanese food from that place. guess, that was not my lucky day.

there was a traffic jam that day and we couldn't find a taxi so we decided to go for a walk and see where it leads us. i know ryan's pizzarelli is near the place but i really don't know where it is exactly until we came a cross a man bringing a box of pizza.

and so we ordered ryan pizzarelli's famous romantico calzone (this one is good for 3-4 person)

calzone by the way is kinda like a pizza folded in half. ryan pizzarelli's romantico calzone is stuffed with ham, premium beef, mushroom, onions, bell pepper and egg.

fudtrip cost: around P280 (including drinks)

tryin' to catch up with old friends after being busy, au2x and i decided to hit the nearest mcdonalds. i knew how girls talk could last for hours so i readied myself and ordered something which would suit the heavy long hours of non-stop talking.

girls talk is always fun. no dull moments. we haven't even notice the time until one of the service crew approached us and said: ma'am it's gonna be closing time in a minute. and i replied, you are supposed to be open 24 hours then he replied back: no we are not. whew! bitin.

i gained weight due to eating too much burger which is by the way, not at all healthy. but then again, i reached 100lbs and credit goes to eating too many burgers and hotdogs. but who could stop me? i love these suckers. my boyfriend even love 'em too.

so pedor and i headed to dong juan at the new persimmon place to try out these craze that i've been hearing for days already.

we started off with their giant mozzarella sticks. they're not burgers but i love them too. i guess i love anything with cheese on it. these sticks look good, i must admit

then pedor's bacon cheese burger arrived. ohhh gotta love those chips too

how to eat a burger properly (lesson 101): you must eat your burger with 2 hands. darn it forget about the fork and knife. i've learned it from the best...i've learned it from him. his picture says it all :)

'twas our anniversary and boy i was so damn hungry.

you can tell by the look on my plate how hungry i was. i even forgot to take a picture of the entire steak presentation due to my screaming stomach. i forgot to take a picture of pedor's order too. as i remember, i ordered their rib-eye steak and pedor got steak of the nation.

my dessert: their version of leche flan

i sooo wanna eat abuhan's sizzling pochero that day but it was raining so damn hard and the sky doesn't have any plans of stopping. pedor was late at our meeting place and worst, we got stuck due to the heavy rain. so we decided to eat just any where near instead of going to abuhan and satisfy my craving for their sizzling pochero (imagine how i've almost lost my temper on this). oh and that day we were near pizza hut. so i ordered pizza hut's lasagna since it is my comfort food and i was hoping it could lift my mood lols. he ordered lasagna as well (i guess his way of saying sorry for being late but i guess not hehe)

chukumi. a restaurant who serves korean dishes for less. after a hard day's work, tundag and i decided to treat ourselves with some korean lovin' and so we ordered samgyeopsal and a bottle of beer. relaxin' in a room made of bamboo with some bacon grillin' in front of you is pure bliss (me, exaggerating) anything with bacon on it is happiness (now, i'm serious)

dipping sauces are: chili paste, soybean paste and sesame oil with salt on it

a set of samgyeopsal includes: bacon, what has been mentioned above and an egg soup

how to eat samgyeopsal:

the grilled bacon must be wrapped on a leaf of lettuce together with some carrots, cucumber, onions and garlic. you can then dip it into the 3 dipping sauces mentioned above

got hungry after an 8 hour shift and grocery shopping, so pedor and i headed to ding qua qua. they are famous for their dim sum treats and to this i would agree.
